 Promote your Business on Grampian Hospital Radio - A Unique Sponsorship Opportunity  

Grampian Hospital Radio has been broadcasting to the hospitals of the Aberdeen area since 1981. We are a registered charity and members of the Hospital Broadcasting Association, everyone associated with the radio is a volunteer and we have no paid employees or regular income. We exist solely on the generosity of sponsors and donors.

We broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the patients of NHS Grampian, that means we reach almost 1000 listeners everyday with the average stay of 3 days this is an opportunity to connect with an audience of 3000+ per week. We extend our reach further via internet and the TUNE-IN app. In addition, with the average age of our listener being 65, it is highly targeted.
  
Our aim is to provide a specialist music service to the patients whilst in hospital, to provide a facility to request music and to provide knowledge of the hospital and its services. We have a broad spectrum of programmes and music from Classical to Chart with specialist programmes in Country, Scottish, Jazz and music from the world of entertainment. We start the day at 7.00am with the Breakfast Show and round off the day with the very popular Request Show broadcast between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm which features tunes requested by patients throughout the day.

Programme sponsorship is one way that businesses can get involved with supporting Grampian Hospital Radio and in return your organisation will be promoted on our website and during specific programs. Legislation prohibits us carrying adverts however we can include acknowledgements during our programming e.g. “Tonight's Request show is sponsored by Your Company Name” Touch of Tartan is brought to you in association with Your Company Name, we are grateful for our partnership with Your Company Name, etc.

The link can be in the form a jingle (there would be small production cost depending on the complexity) voiced by the presenter or a combination.

  • One Hour Programme
    • 4 “on-air” acknowledgements and in any programme trailers.
    • Inclusion on GHR website

             Cost: £500/year

  • Two Hour Programme
    • 8 “on-air” acknowledgements and in any programme trailers
    • Inclusion on GHR website 
    • Inclusion in GHR programme literature

             Cost: £1000/year

  • Request Show - 7 Days Per Week
    • 8 “on-air” acknowledgements and in any programme trailers. Per night x 7
    • Inclusion on GHR website 
    • Inclusion in GHR programme literature 

          Cost: £2,500/year

We will provide updates of GHR activities a certificate of sponsorship as well as our logos for inclusion in any company websites/publications.

The minimum length of sponsorship is 6 months with the prices above pro rata.
